To bring back concern for environment and make it as an agenda of the country, at both the macro and micro level, mass media is a reliable source. Knowing the way mass media, news media in particular, reflect environment in their coverage, is important to get an accurate picture ofwhere the country stands in examining the specifics of environment. This monograph tries to reflect the concerns and priorities at the macro-level going by the extent and scope of coverage by news media.
