Brief about the project: The Akshra Bharti Programme (ABP) was aimed to increase literacy among the illiterate adult of the district. The evaluation of the ABP was examined the operational strategies and implementation processes in the context of approved plan of action with regard to the district specific factors. The evaluation also assessed the direct and indirect impact of the programme on individual learners and on the community.
