In April 2014, Disney India, India’s leading diversified, multi-brand entertainment company launched FFC as an innovative interschool volunteering program to promote the concept of urban greenery in Delhi. Under this program a massive outreach was done with schools in Delhi encouraging them to adopt a garden in their neighbourhood and work towards redeveloping the same. Disney India took on the mantle of giving grants to 9 selected schools to accomplish the redevelopment they envisaged and partnered with CMS, a Delhi-based non-government think-tank to achieve the same.
