Baseline survey on ‘Changing Young Women’s Knowledge, Attitude and Skills on Sexual and Reproductive Health issues through Community-level Intervention in two districts of Jharkhand’, 2012, Ipas Development Foundation

Brief about the project: A cross sectional study conducted to capture the knowledge, attitude and practices related to medical termination of pregnancy in rural locations of Jharkhand. The current and preferred source of information on family planning and safe abortion was captured to provide information for programme intervention. A quantitative survey among eligible women was conducted in rural households. The household selection was based on an exhaustive listing and mapping of households in the selected villages carried out by CMS enumerators.The Baseline survey covered a sample size of total of 600 respondents each from both intervention and control areas.
