A Baseline Assessment of Perception and Practices related to COVAX, CAB and Government Benefits during COVID-period among Marginalized Communities in India, UNICEF, 2021

In mid-2021, CMS undertook the baseline assessment among marginalized communities (referred as Priority Groups), to understand the level of awareness about symptoms of COVID-19 and precautions to be taken, extent of acceptance of vaccine against COVID-19 at household and community levels, awareness and practices related to COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) as well as to assess the access and availability of benefits under different social protection schemes of the governments, across 11 states. With the aim to do the capacity building of volunteers of NGO networks, the local volunteers were extensively trained to collect data in CAPI mode.
