Brief about the project: The main purpose of the intervention in Bihar, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh is livelihood support through better cattle management practices and improving the breed of cattle. As the national level M & E consultant the role of ‘CMS Social’ team included preparation of conceptual framework of M & E and its operational plan, Rapid Assessment Surveys as well as Impact assessment, periodic review and tracking of CDC as well as management plan for M & E. For the study purpose CMS Social has developed a unique Poverty Assessment Tool to assess the economic status of the project beneficiary families.
