Brief about the project:CMS Social conducted the mid-term assessment of the project to assess the current status of the project - the progress against the desired goals and objectives of the programme as well as the socio-economic condition of farmers and further analyzed the improvement in the knowledge and cropping practices of farmers about soil health, balanced fertilizers and importance of using inter crops. The evaluation findings were assessed using the five OECD-DAC recognized evaluation criteria namely, Efficiency, Effectiveness, Relevance, Impact and Sustainability of the Programme. CMS Social used the quasi-experimental research design and both quantitative as well as qualitative research tools were used to gather information.
