Have we failed as a Republic or is it a ‘glass half empty’ situation?

Republic Day 2022 has a special signifi cance. It is likely to be a turning point in India’sprospects. Will we continue with the Republic and accomplish what our constitution makersenvisioned 75 years ago? Or, since it is glass half empty situation, will we rather go for a secondRepublic with a new constitution?
