In partnership with HSBC, CMS planted 1400 saplings (of which 1320 survived) in 3 locations. These saplings were planted by the staff of HSBC. CMS also maintained the saplings for an year.During the one year maintenance period, three joint visits were conducted with HSBC officials, some 30 rounds of monitoring visits by the CMS project officers, including 12 rounds with plantation experts. The year witnessed chilly winter (in Delhi), quite erratic rainfall and prolonged period of heat. In this period, one round of replantation was done at all the three sites to replace the dead saplings.
