End line Evaluation of Changing young women’s knowledge, attitude and skills on sexual and reproductive health issues through community-level intervention in two districts of Jharkhand, 2013, Ipas DevelopmentFoundation

CMS Social conducted a cross sectional study to capture the knowledge, attitude and practices related to medical termination of pregnancy,current and preferred source of information on family planning and safe abortion to provide information for programme intervention in rural areas. The household selection was based on an exhaustive listing and mapping of households in selected villages carried out by CMS enumerators. The survey was undertaken in the intervention Blocks of Deogarh and Giridih and in the control Block of Madhupur. In this survey, total sample of 1494 Young Women (869 Married and 625 Un-married) of 15-24 age group were covered from both intervention and control Blocks.
