Climate change is impacting the bio-diversity hotspots in India, leading to a negative impact on agriculture, rainfall and other aspects of the area. An increase in the number of disasters is also there.

To discuss the same, Centre for Media Studies (CMS) in partnership with Indian Himalayas Climate Adaptation Programme (IHCAP) is organizing a three-day Media workshop on Climate Change at Aijwal Club, Aizawl from September 13-15, 2017.

Chief Guest will be Honourable Governor of Mizoram, Lt General (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma and Planning and Finance minister of Mizoram Shri Pu Lalsawta will be Guest Of Honour .

We welcome media from Mizoram to attend the workshop that envisages interaction with thematic experts, senior journalists and a field visit.
